Object Description
Circa 1860, a pair of rare mid-Victorian neat-sized marquetry inlaid burr walnut 3-tier étagères. The top tiers with outset corners and wrap-around fretted brass galleries with intricate musical instrument inlays in exotic woods. The lower tiers have different instruments inlaid in exotic woods, with cast brass mouldings. The frieze drawers with satinwood, boxwood ebony inlay and all supported on tapered ring-turned legs over neat turned feet.
