Object Description

A Post-Medieval loyalist badge dating to the reign of Charles I, modelled from a thin sheet of pewter. The obverse of the roundel features a crude crown within a wreath, in low-relief. The reverse is left unworked.

Date: Circa 1625-1649

Found Billingsgate spoil from the Thames foreshore, London, UK. (Export licence required for international purchase. The application will be arranged by the seller, at no additional charges for the buyer. The item can only be shipped after the licence has been obtained.)

Object Condition

Fine condition. Minor chips and slight cracks to the edges. Motifs partly worn consistent with age.
