Object Description

This very pretty early George III silver pierced pudding slice was made in London in 1769 by John Neville and measures just over 11 inches long and has a feather edged handle with feather edging also around the blade, the blade is beautifully pierced and engraved and is attaches to the handle with a large cast shell and has the initials AS in flowing script at the top of the handle and is fully and clearly hallmarked to the back of the blade, a superb slice in excellent condition weighing 4.10 ounces or 127 grams.
