Object Description
This Old oriental Qashqai Sofreh kilim. has been handwoven in colours of red, blue and ivory. With a simple block colour centre and striped design surround. Woven by hand in Persian in the 1940s, this flatweave is called a “Sofreh” which is commonly handwoven in Iran by the Qashqai people. This example has an abstract design, which can be used in both a modern or classic setting.
Woven with hand-spun wool and cotton which have been organically dyed with vegetables. Woven by hand with traditional techniques this piece is hardwearing and eyecatching making it the perfect accent rug for any home interior.
