Object Description
This rare early 18th century tortoiseshell and silver oval snuff box was made C1720 and measures 3 inches long by 2.25 inches wide and is 0.25 inches deep, it has a portrait bust of King Charles I in armour to the lid and there is a stand away hinge to the back – the box is silver bound and is in very good condition with the detailing still sharp, it is also signed OB on the left hand side near the shoulder.
