Circa 1860 Quality neat-sized one-piece Victorian mahogany kneehole desk. Made of the finest quality Spanish mahogany, including flame-mahogany sides. The top with rounded fore-edges and a green leather gilt-tooled writing surface over 3 frieze drawers with fine original turned knobs and ash drawer lining (sign of quality cabinetmaking- often Scottish). All supported on twin banks of 3 graduated matching drawers over enclosed plinth bases.
