A rare survivor! A very large solid oak industrial wall clock, dating to the Mid 19th Century. It has a thick sectioned turned outer rim and a 24 inch painted enamel dial, with counterpoised moon hands. The dial is signed Howlett, Cheltenham who is listed as a working clockmaker 1830-1879. This clock was converted to electricity many years ago, but has now been fitted with a quartz high torque movement.
