This beautiful large and rare Commonwealth silver dish was made in London in 1659 by SA (Jacksons page 118) and measures 9.75 inches handle to handle and is 6.75 inches in dia across and it stands almost 1.25 inches tall. It is beautifully decorated with raised punch bead decoration and very typical of the Commonwealth period and has a shell shaped handle either side.
