Object Description

This rare pair of miniature William III Britannia silver candlesticks were made in London in 1691 by George Manjoy and measure 1 7/8 inches tall by 1 3/8 inches across the base. They have square stepped bases leading into fluted columns and to the top they have a square holder for the candle with a flower shaped opening. They are fully hallmarked to the base on one and under the base with the date letter and lion passant and makers mark above to the other – a nice rare find.
