A very rare pair of Staffordshire pottery figures of Dalmations, c. 1860. The elegant dogs standing upon underglaze green mound bases, one holding its game, the other with it at his feet. Both painted with black spots in underglaze black enamel. The bases with a single gilt line.
It is much more typical to find this group as a Greyhound, I have never before seen this model painted as Dalmations. An extremely rare model.
