Object Description
Large and impressive reclaimed Victorian carved oak chimneypiece with deeply carved lions masks to the capitals above tapering pilasters and a central lions head to the frieze. The overmantle has a central bevelled mirror flanked by two fielded panels and the pediment has applied acanthus leaf oak carvings and a larger lions head mask. The deep side returns also benefit from fielded panels.
Currently unrestored awaiting restoration and a full re polish.
