Object Description
An impressive and well executed Regency period centre table of the highest quality. The well figured top heightened with brass inlaid reserves and a wide crossbanding, the tapered and stepped square stem with further inlaid decoration above a shaped platform raised on four finely swept sabre legs terminating in original brass lion paw feet and castors, again, decorated with brass inlay. The quality and restraint of the brasswork is redolent of John McLean.
