Rococo style gilt bronze and marble mantel clock

This Rococo style gilt bronze and olive-green mantel clock is designed about the scheme of a green marble vase mounted with gilt bronze features. This vase is inset to the front with an enamel dial, surrounded by a gilt bronze ribbon-tied wreath, the dial marked with both Roman and Arabic numerals. The vase is mounted to the sides with twin gilt bronze foliate handles and is topped by a gilt bronze lid, the lid surmounted by a gilt bronze floral finial. The vase is raised by a square gilt bronze base, lifted by foliate scroll legs.
