Object Description

An Original Rosewood bracket clock dating to the early 19th Century. It has a traditional chamfer top surmounted by a brass pineapple finial, inset corner quadrants around the dial, silk lined brass fishscale fret sides with brass ring handles, standing on brass ball feet. It has an 8 day twin fusee movement that sounds the hours on a bell. The backplate is signed by the maker, Prince of Hammersmith. A John Prince is listed as working in London c.1844. The clock comes complete with a set up video if required and a period key.

Object Condition

The case is in excellent original good condition, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. The dial has been restored sometime ago and is now nicely aged. If you would like a video clip of this clock working please email.
