(The epitome of versatility baby Sutherland tables are one of our
best selling articles. This one is particularly unusual being constructed
from Satinbirch which adds a real mellow feel to the look of the piece and
at coffee table height, with both flaps raised it makes a great
portable coffee table, which can have it’s flaps folded down and
be tucked away when not in use if required taking up effectively
no valuable space whatsoever.
The term “Sutherland Table” is believed to originate from the first full
size, non “baby” variants of these tables being named after The
Duchess Of Sutherland, Mistress Of The Robes To Queen Victoria)
