A set of twelve Scottish Antique Edwardian Sterling silver fish knives and forks which are unusual in design and sit neatly in the original fitted box which is still in excellent condition. The forks have plain bodies which come to a point at the end and they have been designed with three tines which are long and even. The fish knives are equally plain with pointed ends and they have flat blades. There is a crest depicting a stag on the front of each piece which adds to the Scottish theme. These silver fish knives and forks have been hallmarked in Glasgow for 1909 and 1910 although one fork, which must have been lost over the years, has been sympathetically renewed and perfectly matched in 2005 and once again completes the set. There are twenty four pieces in total and each knife measures 20.40 cms and each fork measures 18.60 cms. They weigh 36.30 troy ounces (1128 grams).
