A cased set of twelve Victorian sterling silver tea spoons with matching sugar tongs.
The spoons have a cut and open work decoration to the handle with small initials engraved at the end.
The pair of sugar tongs are decorated to match the spoons.
The spoons and tongs have sterling hall marks for Sheffield, the year 1898 and the maker’s mark for Lawson & Co.
The case is covered in black leather and lined with red velvet and silk.
The spoons and tongs are in very good condition, the case shows some signs of wear. (Circa 1898-99)
