Object Description
This set of antique hall chairs must have been made for somewhere very special. They have the family crest on the back rest, reeded front legs and beautiful C scroll on the back. The shape of these chairs is especially generous with steeply raked back and exaggerated sabre back legs that extend beyond the top of the back. This is an important but rarely seen aspect of design which makes the chair more stable and also protects the chair from the wall and vice versa.
