Object Description
A highly ornate set of late Georgian wrought iron garden gates with accompanying posts handcrafted at the hand of a talented 19th century blacksmith. These beautiful gates are in original condition and while there are a few historic repairs and minor losses, it is rare to find gates such as these in such good condition after over 200 years of use. A huge amount of work has gone into this intricate pair of gates and posts, detailed with an abundance of ornate scrollwork and flowers. Pointed fleur de lis style finials to the top of the posts bring grandeur to any garden.
