Object Description
A set of late 18th to early 19th century Georgian mahogany chairs.
The set comprises eight single chairs and two elbow chairs.
The chairs are in a Hepplewhite design with a domed top rail and three splats to the back that are decoratively carved with oval patera, leaves and flowers.
The legs are square and tapering with a rail between the back legs and a ‘H’ shaped cross stretcher.
The chairs have drop in pad seats that have been re-webbed and cotton calico covered ready for upholstery. (Circa 1800)
