Object Description
A mahogany Ship’s Decanter Shelf.
The shelf has three cutouts to the top shelf to support a bottle to the middle with a glass either side. The diameter for the decanter is 5 inches with the glasses 2 3/4 inches each. In stormy seas the glassware would be protected from tipping. The uprights of the shelves are shaped and were fixed to the bulkhead by mirror plates.
