Object Description
A Victorian woven silk Stevengraph of Dick Turpin jumping a toll gate.
The Stevengraph has the title printed on the slip “Dick Turpin’s last ride on his Bonnie Black Bess” and smaller “Woven in silk by Thomas Stevens, Inventor and manufacturer, Coventry, London (Registered)”.
The silk picture is held in its original black and gold decorated wood frame.
The Stevengraph has a couple of minor marks, the frame has a few chips to the decoration. (Circa 1870)
