This magnificent folder opens to an accordion file, the material of the file formed from silk, which is fitted on the outside with a hard-shell cover. The cover is decorated with orange-tinged guilloché enamel and is mounted to the centre with an enamel pictorial plaque painted in a Rococo style. This plaque is framed by a silver scrolling mount, the style of which corresponds to the four triangular silver mounts fitted to each corner of the cover.
