Object Description

This grand Edwardian oak three bottled tantalus is unusual as it has silver mounts to the corners tops and the commemorative escutcheon plates are also silver. Silversmiths: E J Partridge 1901-1910 (registered Feb 1901 of Graham Street, Birmingham. The three cut glass bottles have the original stoppers and are in very good condition.
The silver shield is engraved: 1st V.B.S.R. Annual Prize Shooting
1905 1st Prize won Cyclist Lance Corporal F A Rich
