This beautiful drinking set was created in Germany in the early 20th Century, c.1900. The six cups will make an elegant addition to a collection of drink- or tableware.
Each item is composed of a silver cup with a single handle, which is decorated with leafy grapevines. These cups are fitted with ruby coloured glass inserts, the rims of which are parcel gilt. The transparent pinky-red glass beautifully contrasts with the solid silver of the cups. The silver is hallmarked and bears the German crown and crescent mark.
