Small 18th Century Georgian Sideboard
An 18th century Georgian mahogany sideboard.
The sideboard stands on six square tapering legs with boxwood edges and satinwood socks.
The sideboard is bowed in the centre, the top has a boxwood line inlay and a rounded cross grained edge.
The sideboard comprises a bowed central oak lined drawer, to the left a deep drawer with two bottle storage divisions and to the right a door to a cupboard.
The drawers and cupboard have panels of satinwood with boxwood inlays and octagonal brass handles that are old replacements.
Where the legs follow through into the top they have broad satinwood veneered panels.
The sideboard is in good condition having had the polish sympathetically restored. (Circa 1790)
