A Very Attractive George II Period Mahogany Chest, Of Diminutive Proportions, Having Superbly Figured Top Over Two Short And Three Long Drawers, With Replacement Brass Handles, Raised On Elegant Original Ogee Bracket Feet. 

This fabulous little chest of drawers is of a very sweet, small size which is rarely found. It is also excellent quality in terms of its construction and the choice of timbers, meaning it is perfect for a while variety of different functions, in a wide range of different locations. This is helped by the enduring functionality of the piece, which is certainly as fit for purpose as the day it was made. 

It has clearly been well loved and regularly polished throughout the many years of its life as it retains an exceptional colour and untouched patina. The brass handles are replacements in the original style and the elegant ogee feet are also original. 

As with all of the items which we offer for sale this Georgian Chest Of Drawers has been attended to in our workshops in the traditional manner using natural wax polish, by our highly skilled and well trained restorers to ensure it is in good, clean condition before being offered for sale.
