Object Description
A Louis XVI th style gilt mantel clock dating to the mid 19th century . The embossed case depicts a pair of doves and applied floral decoration with an inset enamel porcelain panel. The enamel dial has blue numerals and fancy pierced gilt brass hands. It has a eight day movement that strikes the hours and halves on a gong and is stamped SF & JD and numbered 6389, with matching numbering to the case and pendulum. The case has been cleaned and retains its original immaculate gilding
