A very small leather hide cigarette case with raised seams. The top of the case is stamped with the Royal Coat of Arms with Cigarets Manufacturer above and below it and the initials C to one side and T (or J) to the other. The case is also stamped with a dot to both the top and bottom of the case to ensure the top is put back correctly. As can be seen by the penny coin, the case is very small and certainly wouldn’t fit a modern cigarette. It would however, probably take two small lipsticks or a maybe a Zippo lighter. Late 19th Century.
