Object Description
A small bureau plat or writing desk, the rectangular gilt-bronze banded top quarter veneered in kingwood. The panelled frieze compartment with two frieze drawers, each with a dummy drawer at the back. With leather lined candle slides, on panelled square tapering legs. The elegant desk with its simple, rectilinear design is decorated from each side and can freely stand within a room.
