Object Description

A small (just over 6 feet high) late 17th Century style longcase clock made in the George V period. It has a square hood, a long bevel glazed door, a fielded panel base and a shaped plinth. The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring with brass spandrels and a matted centre. It has a weight driven Westminster chime movement, that sounds the 1/4’s and hours on chime bars. The chimes and or strike can be silenced. It has three brass weights and a brass bob pendulum, wound by pulling the chains on a weekly basis.

Object Condition

The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. The brass weights and pendulum have been lacquered so they will not tarnish. If you would like a video clip of the clock chiming please email Worboys.
