Object Description
A small English pad top bracket clock dating to the late 19th Century. It has a break arch pad top with a brass carrying handle, with boxwood stringing to the front and side panels, standing on brass ogee bracket feet. It has a painted enamel dial, signed by the maker, L. Mumford, Fenchurch Street, London. The 8 day chain driven twin fusee movement with stopwork to prevent overwinding sounds the hours on a gong. The clock comes with a period key and a set up/running video if required.
