Spode Felspar Porcelain Dessert Service
An early 19th century 28 piece Georgian Spode Felspar porcelain dessert service.
All but eight of the pieces have the Spode Felspar porcelain mark with the number 4368 (1815-1827).
The set comprises 21 plates, a large oval comport, 5 assorted oval dishes and a shaped dish.
The pieces are white and green with different groups of hand painted flowers decorating the centres and the outer edge of the large comport and all the pieces are highlighted with gilt.
The set was once owned by the Money-Coutts family who by repute had the set commissioned.
The set is in good condition all bar two pieces, one plate has a crack and a small oval dish has a crack. (Circa 1820)
