Object Description

This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver teapot is of a plain panelled octagonal form onto a spreading collet style foot, all in the Queen Anne style. The surface of the teapot is plain and encircled with a girdle. This teapot has the original hinged hallmarked domed panelled cover surmounted with an impressive sterling silver urn style finial. The teapot has the original shaped carved wood handle with a carved scroll style thumbpiece and a swan necked spout. Length from handle to handle 8.75. inches, 22.22 cm, width 4.50 inches ,11.43 cm, height to top of finial 6 inches, 15.24 cm. Capacity: 700ml. Weight including handle 12.5 troy oz., 389 grams
