The surface of this antique silver gallery tray is plain and unembellished.
The exceptional deep, swept galleried border is embellished with pierced vertical pales accented with cast and applied bud style festoon swags, with corresponding pendant drops.
The upper rim of the galleried border is ornamented with a band of applied festoon ornamentation, identical to that of the aforementioned swags.
This impressive sterling silver tea tray incorporates a plain oval inset handle to either end.
The underside of this pierced silver gallery tray bears the retailer’s mark ‘T.W.Long & Co, Cardiff’.
