Object Description

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver drinking goblet; an addition to our Georgian wine and drinks related silverware collection

These exceptional antique Georgian English sterling silver drinking goblet have a plain circular bell shaped form to a waisted pedestal foot.

The body of each piece is embellished with the bright cut engraved coat of arms displaying on a fess three lions rampant, between three boar’s heads couped.

The coat of arms are each surmounted with a bright cut engraved crest of a lion rampant holding in the paws a boar’s head couped.

The goblets retain the original gilding to the interiors.
