Object Description

Black pencil drawing. There is another drawing on the reverse of a clothed seated figure which some may prefer. The latter is signed with his initials. Two for the price of one.

Object History

With The New Grafton Gallery at 42 Old Bond St. London, where exhibited in 1974 in “ENGLISH DRAWINGS 1900 -1940”
Purchased from them on 27-1-77 by Mrs Unity Viney, The Flint House, Harbour Street, Broadstairs. (Label verso)
We have had a new mount made so the sight size is now smaller at 18 x 12.25 inches. Overall size now 25 x 19 inches.

Object Condition

Good. Some minor creasing. Presented in new mount and frame..
