Aston Hall is a magnificent seventeenth century red-brick mansion situated in a public park on the north side of Birmingham. It was built between 1618 and 1635 by Sir Thomas Holte, the head of an important Warwickshire family and was one of the last great Jacobean houses to be built. It is now a Grade I listed building.
Neville Hickman was a Birmingham based collector and artist.
