Object Description

This superb 6 place setting of agate handled and George III Irish silver dessert knives and forks were made in Dublin in 1802 by Richard Sawyer and measure 7.75 inches long (knives) and 6.5 inches long (forks) the handles are absolutely stunning banded agate handles with silver scalloped edged ferrules that are scratch engraved leading into either silver 2 pronged forks (unmarked) or silver blades all fully and clearly hallmarked. A superb set with no damage to the agate handles in excellent condition and a very rare find in this condition.
