Object Description

This superb quality armorial and crested Georgian silver serving platter was made in London in 1828 by Benjamin Smith and measures just over 17 inches long by just over 13 inches wide, it has a cast shaped and gadrooned border and is crested to one side whilst having a cpat of arms to the opposite. It is fully and clearly hallmarked and is in very good condition weighing a hefty 62 ounces or 1921 grams.
