Object Description
This superb Charles I silver apostle spoon was made in London in 1639 by John Freake and depicts St Philip with a dove nimbus, this still retains some of the original gilding. It is fully and clearly hallmarked to the back of the stem and inside the bowl with the crowned leopards head, the bowl is well formed and of good gauge and it is in excellent condition weighing 2.15 ounces or 67 grams.
