Object Description
This superb quality Commonwealth silver slip top spoon was made in London in 1655 by Jeremy Johnson and measures 7 inches in length, it is fully and clearly hallmarked to the back of the stem and in the bowl with the crowned leopards head, it also bears the engraved initials RP to the top of the stem and is in excellent condition with a good thick bowl that is well formed with no signs of wear and it weighs 1.8 ounces or 56 grams.
