Object Description

Blue and white circular deep plates, each painted with a hanging basket tied at the top of the handle with a bow and containing a flowering chrysanthemum plant, all within a single ring and a wide blue band on the everted rim, the underside with three stylised flower sprays.

Object History

From the 1822 Tek Sing shipwreck that was discovered by Michael Hatcher in 1999.
