Object Description
This is a very unusual fire fender being as it is an important early example of stainless steel manufacture. This is a pleasing design which is a good weight despite having intricate pierced latticework decoration. Difficult to date, but probably from the first quarter of the 20th century, this is an interesting, useful and durable addition to any home.
English, probably Sheffield, circa 1925 £480
