Object Description
A stylish pair of 18ct gold ‘Épis’ earrings by Van Cleef & Arpels c.1960, each of oval domed form and covered in short gold wires to resemble, according to the Maison, “a wheat field, undulating under the summer breeze”, the reverse with clip fittings suitable for both pierced and unpierced ears. The three-dimensional shape has a great profile and interesting textured finish which reflects the light beautifully. These are an elegant and easy to wear pair of clips perfect for day or evening.
