Object Description
A stylish pair of gold ‘Hedgehog’ earrings by Van Cleef & Arpels c.1960s, each of oval domed form and covered in gold wire ‘spikes’ to resemble the spines of a hedgehog, the reverse with clip fittings suitable for unpierced ears. The three-dimensional shape has a great profile and the heavily textured finish reflects the light beautifully.
18ct yellow gold signed VCA and numbered and with maker’s marks and French assay marks
