Object Description
Van Cleef & Arpels turquoise and diamond Sultana ring. Set with eighteen round cabochon natural unenhanced turquoise of varying sizes in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.70 carats, further set with nineteen round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.85 carats, to an openwork bombe cluster with ridged detail, intricate piercing throughout and circular backholing, the integrated shoulders tapering to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, London import mark and date letter, maker’s mark ‘VCA’ for Van Cleef & Arpels, French, circa 1976.
