Object Description

This very nice crested early George III silver drum mustard pot was made in London in 1765 by William Lesturgeon and measures 2 inches tall by 2 9/16 inches in dia. It is crested to the lid with an unusual crest and has it’s original Bristol blue liner inside. It has a scrolled handle with a cast shell thumb piece and is fully and clearly hallmarked under the base. A good quality pot weighing 4.45 ounces or 139 grams.
