Object Description

This George II silver bullet teapot was made in London in 1741 by Whipham and Wright and measures 5 3/8 inches to the top[ of the handle by 8 3/8 inches handle to spout and is 3.25 inches in dia across the base. It has a scrolled fruit wood handle with cast silver ferrules, the top one being scrolled, the body itself is plain and the curved spout has leaf detailing below and the lid has turned wood finial. It is fully and clearly hallmarked underneath and is in very good condition weighing 14.35 ounces or 446 grams.
