Object Description
A charming Victorian diamond set fob watch c.1880s, the diminutive watch measuring just 2.1cm in diameter, the white dial with black numbers surrounded by a border of tiny gold dots, the hour and minute hands in gold, the case pavé set throughout with rose cut diamonds of varying sizes, with hinged opening at the base, all surmounted by the gold fluted winding crown within a scalloped diamond-set pendant bow. This delightful little watch is as much a jewel as an item of practicality, the diamonds are beautifully lively with a substantial central rose cut diamond and it has been finely made. As well as being worn in the traditional fashion, this would also look lovely hung from a chain as a pendant.
